Saturday 9th April 2005 - MUSC France celebrates his second year anniversary

First of all we would like to thank the Manchester United Soccer School team for welcoming us in their wonderful facilities at Disneyland. Special thanks to Tony who made the event possible.

Despite the cold wind the morning training session will stay in the memories of our members, it was a great football experience for all of them, and a great laugh! Congratulations to Régis who won the penalty shoot-out competition, with United's 13th keeper in goal! James proved himself to have the best knowledge on Manchester United by winning a quizz, before Claude Boli entered the room.

The author of "Manchester United, l'invention d'un club" took us away with his anecdotes on Eric Cantona or Sir Alex Ferguson and pointed out the main events that makes his book so special, from the analysis of United's archives to the following of the King's first miracles with Auxerre. We would very much like to thank him for coming.

And a big hand to our members who came from a long way away. Some woke up early for the 9:30 kick-off like Nasserdine from Grenoble, or Anthony and Céline from Tourcoing. Matthieu even fought through the snow to catch his train in Bourgogne. But it was all worth it. The only disapointment came from United who failed to put in a good performance against strugling Norwich.

Following the AGM we would like to welcome Matthieu, Serge, Yann and Anthony to the association's committee, that will soon work on the bright prospects of the 2005/06 season.
