Bonjour fellow United supporter,
I'm on a two days business trip to Paris with my boss, starting tomorrow
evening Monday 3rd Dec and we are playing Fulham. Luckily it seems at the moment,
we do not have any plans for tomorrow evening. Therefore I hope I can persuade
my boss to go to a pub where we can watch United.
I have seen some recommended pubs on your site: The Bowler, McBride's and
The Frog & Rosbif. We're staying at the IBIS Hotel in 92400 Courbevoie so
I believe that The Bowler is the best pub for us??
I would be pleased if you could advise me and hopefully already today as
we are leaving very very early tomorrow morning.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards

Hi Henrik,
The Bowler is an excellent choice. Your hotel is not far from
La Defense so you'll only have to take Metro 1 to the George V
stop. (google map)
It should show the game tomorrow night, but if it doesn't you
still have the possibility to go to The Freedom pub which is 8
Rue de Berri (not far).
If you have any problems, you can contact me at
+3363230xxxx until 8pm.
Hope you'll enjoy your stay in France and manage to see the game!
Red Regards,
James

Alright, I noticed you have info for watching the Man
U games in France? Anyway, im in Paris for tomorrow's champ league
game against Celtic, and
was wondering if there's any bars where i can watch it? All the places i've
tried so far won't be showing it.
Cheers,
Eddy.
Hi Eddy, Many British pubs should be showing the game tomorrow night. Here are a few pubs I tend to go to: (won't be there tomorrow
as I live in the suburbs)
The Bowler near the Champs Elysees ( 13 rue d'Artois)
McBrides in Chatelet (54 rue Saint Denis)
On the same road there's The Frog & Rosbif (116 rue St Denis)

Hi Vadim,It would be great to meet you indeed. Where will you be in France?
Paris I guess? I live in the Paris suburbs so i could only make it for the Siddy
game on Sat 9. Keep in touch James
Hello
James,
Thanx for your answer! I`ll arrive in Paris from London on 7th December and will
be there the next day too. In the morning of 9th I`m going to Lyon to the Festival
of Light and will have to watch Citeh game over there. I`ll be back to Paris
on 11th but immideately fly to Moscow. I think 9th would be a great day to meet.
Can you help me with hint where to watch our game in Lyon? Cheers Vadim

From David,
I read your information for the game next week. I was just wondering how
the locals get back to the lille after the game, and is there absolutley no transport
available after the game back to lille. Also, how many taxis are around and how
easy is it to get hold of one of them? Basically, are you fucked if you need to
get back to lille after the game???
Cheers
David
Hi David,
I found there is a transport company that organises bus rides
from Lille to Lens and back. (http://www.transpole.fr/l/l_a_f_loscausdf_1.aspx)
Tickets are sold at the "informations vente" desk at
the Lille Flandres station and cost 12€ return.
Buses will leave from Villeneuve
d’Ascq not far from the
Lille Metropole stadium. (to get there, take metro 1 towards Villeneuve
d’Ascq - 4 Cantons and stop at Villeneuve d'Ascq - Pont de
Bois then 10 minute walk)
Departures at 16:45 sharp local time from car park P7.
Hope you will make it OK

From Jennifer:
Hello.
I am currently a study abroad student. Though I get my Man. Utd. fix in
pubs at
London, I'm having a bit of trouble finding them here in Paris. I will be
here for
two weeks, and would hate to miss matches. Are there any pubs you would
recommend? Feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Jen
Hello Jennifier,
Many British pubs show premierleague matchs at Paris.
Here are a few pubs we tend to go to:
The Bowler near the Champs Elysees ( 13 rue d'Artois)
McBrides in Chatelet (54 rue Saint Denis)
On the same road there's The Frog & Rosbif (116 rue St Denis).
